Victory! Finally, sweet sweet victory. Today, December 19, 2025 is the day I have all the main pages of this website “optimized”. It’s finally fully functional (aside from where it isn’t). I find nearly everything I do comes with a tremendous learning curve. Despite the ease of a modern website block style builder, errors are still very possible. I have probably stumbled on every single rock on the path to having a functional web presence. I planned at one point to have this done two months ago. Well…. that didn’t pan out.
So, why am I here complaining about such things? First, it sounds like I am belly aching. Nay, I am very happy! I am theoretically at the point, where “all I have to do” is sit and write stuff out. It has taken me freaking ages to get this far. I try to make the most of my time, between kids, work, and side work, its tough.
The worst part is not a single thing was click here = results. From learning how to make photos web friendly and processing them. To working in what was probably a broken staging site and pushing to live. It took hours where a pro would have took minutes I’m sure. I know a lot more because of it which is great. But I really wasn’t signing up for a web developer course. Ha, I took a non-credit one by default of building this website. For better or worse, its about 80% done at its core.
Since I’ve last sat down to write something fruitful I’ve tried to keep busy. My design for large material racks at TCA.

I made the design, built and got patina on three signs. I’ve yet to hang them, they are going to Heavy Metal.

We got a great patina on some stands of my design.

I helped a friend plot the CNC files for his kids new fire pit as his housewarming gift to them. I just did the design files on this one. He did all the heavy lifting.

Gosh, what else.
I finished a shelf that is also at Heavy Metal. This design is unique because I scavenged everything for the build.

I’ll quit uploading photos for now. But to remind myself later. I did a squiggle tree, vertical loves, hopes, and dreams, large cactus, double daffodil, door corners, and repaired a chair. I built a crappy paint booth, designed the holders for beer signs, and made some more signage. I made a kick butt steel QR code as well. I also helped defeat a breakable button.
If I was a proper internet user I would do a write up for everyone of these. Each photo posted has a bunch more to go with, and of course an explanation. Anyway, we’ll get to it. I just wanted to let the world know, yes I am alive. Yes, I am always working on something.
Christmas is right around the corner. While I will still be playing catch-up and writing more before than. Merry Christmas! I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday. I will definitely stop to enjoy some time with my people and wear nothing but festive pajama pants.
