I’m absolutely playing catch up with this as it happened months ago. I’m a fairly private person, and maybe someone would have put this all over their social media. I’m not really that guy, I like things quiet. Anyway, I was in a commercial for Company cam. They just surpassed 2 billion in evaluation which was a big deal in Nebraska.

Not only do I teach full time, and run a flourishing business. I also have time to be a movie star. Nah, not really. Although I totally got to be in this commercial. I’m in it in a few places, some of which are about .5 seconds. I’m also in the last shot which I am incredibly proud of. Anchor man right here. Pretty cool to be a part of it, and I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity. Thanks Chelsea, if you ever stumble across this post.
Legit star stuff.
I’m I a simpleton for thinking this is extra cool? The production crew was headed by an Australian director. The whole thing went down like you’d imagine something like this going down. Shooting in the evening for the golden hour. Getting the perfect shot, having a starring contest with a camera and winning? The cherry on top was the fella with the Australian accent calling the shots. I really appreciated the pitch though. They were looking for people who actually do the work. They shot everything on location where the work was being done and filmed on site. They had a real attention to detail, and the quality shows in my humble opinion.
Also, if you were wondering. I am the fella in the orange and brown plaid shirt and blue welding beanie under a black hardhat. I never named my truck but the yellow square body is mine too. I thought she’d have more of starring role but hey, it all works out like it is supposed to.
